The Bugster follows the same off-roader style used on the FCC (Fiat Concept Car), the first concept designed by the Italian company's Brazilian branch and presented at the 2006 Brazil show. Details were scarce before the official unveiling. However, the Bugster should feature elements from Fiat's Locker series, a lineup involving mechanical upgrades and design cues to appeal to young and adventurous buyers. The Locker series was introduced by the FCC Adventure and first seen at the 2006 Brazil and Bologna auto shows.
