A Close Look at 2011 Chrysler 200 (with wallpapers)

2011 Chrysler 200

Chrysler announced that its all-new midsize sedan will be called the 200. Chrysler has ended the long run of its Sebring sedan after the last generation was met with a lackluster reception by the press and, more importantly, the buying public.

Virtually every system in the sedan is new or upgraded for 2011, giving the Chrysler 200 its own identity and space in the highly competitive mid-size sedan segment. Exterior and Read the rest of this entry »

Chrysler Review: Dodge Grand Caravan

Dodge Grand Caravan

The Dodge Grand Caravan is part of the original family of minivans. Originated as a concept at Ford, the minivan was rejected by that automaker and found a home at Chrysler. Under Lee Iacocca's leadership, the company introduced the first Dodge Caravan and Plymouth Voyager in the 1984 model year, and the resulting success ensured Chrysler would move out of the K-car era and on to minivan leadership.

Over the years, Dodge's hauler has faced increased competition from import-brand minivans. In some ways, it has Read the rest of this entry »

Chrysler is Proud of 2011 Jeep Patriot

The Jeep Patriot seems to have found its groove lately, with sales surging 57 percent in August, enough to push its year-to-date sales results to a 3 percent gain as compared to the first eight months of 2009. Considering the build location, I would expect that the 2011 Chrysler 200 will share a platform with the Chrysler Sebring and Dodge Avenger; both of which are built in Sterling Heights.

The new car will be called the 200, linking it with the successful (and also due for an imminent update) 300. This doesn’t surprise us. In its earlier generations, the Sebring was at least respectable among its contemporary competitive set, but the last iteration had an Read the rest of this entry »
